Part of Platán Manor, the Platán Gourmet Restaurant offers our guests an extraordinary culinary experience, with stunning food compositions and colorful, flowery designs dreamt up by our Michelin-star chef, István Pesti.

István Pesti overtook the responsibility of heading the kitchen of Platán Restaurant in 2015, with the goal of demonstrating that the countryside can offer high quality hospitality that we can take pride in. The chef’s degustation menus are famous for good reason, many believing that he is the chef with the most beautifully plated dishes in Hungary.

In 2020, with the help of designer Zoltán Varró, Platán Restaurant went through a grand renovation and was separated into two sections: a more informal Bistro and the new Fine Dining Restaurant.
